Faculty Exchange Program

The Experiment Station sponsors a competitive grants program fall and spring semesters to strengthen the research linkages of ISU faculty and their counterparts at 1890 and 1994 Land-Grant Institutions. Up to $500 per grant is available to support travel and subsistence expenses of College of Agriculture faculty to either travel to or host a faculty member from these institutions to enhance research, teaching, or extension collaboration. Two-way exchanges are encouraged.

Activities could include the preparation of proposals for federal funding, such as NRI, NIH, and USDA grants, planning collaborative research projects, delivering research seminars, and recruitment activities. 

Applications are due Oct. 15 and Feb. 15. The exchange is to be completed by June 15 of the fiscal year.
